Digital Strategy and Execution

I’m an entrepreneur and manager with great experience in retail and e-commerce. In 2011 I founded freshfoods, the first German online grocery store with same-day delivery. Lately I worked as managing director of Kochzauber where I successfully initiated a business model transition and significantly improved the operation processes. Additional I helped to go international for Kochzauber by launching a meal kit delivery service for Lidl in Switzerland. I have a deep understanding of technologies and a good ability to self-learn. Throughout my professional career, I had the chance to demonstrate creativity, good instincts and dedication, always focused on customer needs. My key achievements include: Entrepreneurship: Founded freshfoods, the first online supermarket in Germany with same-day-delivery. Besides developing the business model, I built-up logistics covering the entire supply chain, including an own warehouse and delivery fleet. Furthermore, I created and continuously improved the online shop. After successfully launching freshfoods, me and my team expanded the business model by a business-to-business delivery service. Leadership: Directed multiple international cross-functional teams through all stages of the project lifecycle within deadlines. In each project, I coordinated the work of up to 200 staff members from a variety of company departments as well as up to 50 outside vendors. At freshfoods, my own startup company as well as as managing director of Kochzauber, I hired and managed teams of 40 employees. Project Management: Successfully completed a wide range of international projects in the fields of expansion, supply chain management and concept development. The list of projects includes openings and optimizations of Media Markt stores in Turkey, Russia and various EU countries.
